Educational Workshops

A series of workshops are published here for reference by students, parents, and teachers. We believe these workshops supplement elementary school education, develop an understanding of the natural world, and give kids a great activity!

If you are interested in attending, organizing, or developing workshops, contact us! We are excited to work with you.

Our three workshops with guided instructions were adapted from lesson plans found on the KidsGardening website, GrowLab: Classroom Activities for Indoor Gardens and Grow Lights, and the Edible Schoolyard website. We modified the lesson plans to fit the goals and space at Barrington Farm School.
